I think this 007 Goldeneye Reloaded is in the middle of these two premises. And at the same time, you run the risk of disappointing those who are used to modern FPS. There is a possibility that the final product does not have a strong enough connection to the original to please the nostalgic. Recreating a classic adapting it to modern game concepts is a risky move. This Reloaded version is no longer new, it is a conversion from the Wii version, but with a graphical update that tries to take advantage of the power of the PS3 and X360. At a time when the genre was very rare on consoles, Goldeneye combined an excellent “singleplayer” mode with a terribly addictive multiplayer, and earned his place in history.
The Rare classic is perhaps the best exception to the rule that says video games inspired by movies are bad. At one time there was an FPS that cost me many hours of sleep, many commands with broken analogues, and many discussions with friends, of course, from 007 Goldeneye to the late N64. Let’s say I stop having fun very quickly, even in multiplayer mode. I simply think that it is one of the most stagnant genres in the industry, and that is why I have not been seriously engaged in an FPS for a long time.
I don’t mean to say that I don’t like this type of games, far from it. Let me start by saying, I am not a big fan of FPS´s.
